Business Scope
Based on the office's each individual licenses and certificates to practice, an office and its representatives may only conduct business within the following activities that do not encompass Chinese legal affairs listed below:
  1. Representatives may provide clients with: the consultancy on the legislations of the country where the lawyers of the law firm are allowed to practice; on international conventions; and international practices;
  2. Representatives may handle cases only when entrusted by the clients or by Chinese law firms within the legal affairs of the country where the attorneys are allowed to engage in practice;
  3. To entrust foreign clients to Chinese law firms that they will handle any Chinese legal affair;
  4. To maintain long-term entrustment relations with Chinese law firms for legal affairs, representatives may enter into contracts;
  5. Representatives can provide information on the impact of the Chinese legal environment.
